Continue reading Y2K Templates – 20 Pieces at Dirtybarn.

Y2K was a term used to describe the design of computer systems and software to ensure that they would be able to handle the transition from the year 1999 to the year 2000. This was important because many computer systems at the time used two-digit codes to represent the year, which meant that they would be unable to distinguish between the years 1900 and 2000. As a result, there was a concern that these systems might malfunction or fail entirely when the date rolled over from December 31, 1999 to January 1, 2000. 

To address this issue, designers had to go back and update their systems to use four-digit codes for the year, which would allow them to properly handle the transition to the new millennium. In addition to this, many systems also had to be tested to ensure that they would continue to function properly after the year 2000. Overall, the Y2K efforts were successful in preventing widespread disruptions and failures of computer systems during the transition to the year 2000.

We created Y2K shapes pack to bring back all the memories from that time and their aesthetic with it! We curates 100 unique shapes from that era and everything in vector form and ready to use!

Well well well. We love our design element packs. We are pushing the concept with different approaches and are very happy with the results. Icons and shapes are key parts of humanity throughout the centuries. Flags, letters, objects, brands, and digital landscapes have icons in it and people can easily recognize them when they see one. Also there are more subtle icons and shapes that fly under the radar. And our aim is to create them for you.

This is our 6th edition of the Design Elements Pack series. You can see all of them from here. The 3D Vector Shapes Pack is the colorful and cheerful side of our collection. All the shapes are in vector form and 3D modeled. You can use them whichever size you want.
