Paulina Almira’s works are almost dream-like, shiny, unexpected and very much surreal. The designer manages to give that dreamy vibe very nicely with the design elements on the one hand and the color palette on the other. Some of the repetitive elements in her works are mirror, glass, eye and the most dominant one is the snake, which is known to carry bad meanings in dreams but looks cute when wrapped in flowers and pink.
Paulina Almira’s works’s irrational juxtapositions brings out the strange beauty in the unexpected and the uncanny. The designer succeeds in presenting the set-ups that you cannot normally imagine, such as a snake wrapped in a teacup, a dessert with a glass on it, a hand holding an eyeball with all its beauty and shininess.
