Information handled on this site now

Dirtybarn does not currently collect account registrations, on-site orders, payment details, form submissions, or newsletter subscriptions. The site's search feature works in your browser against a public, static search index; Dirtybarn does not store your search query in a visitor database.

If you choose to email us, we receive the email address, message, and any information you include. We use it to reply, provide support, discuss a license, or respond to your request.

Like most websites, the hosting and network providers that deliver and protect the site may automatically process limited technical information, such as an IP address, request time, browser information, and security logs. Their handling of that information is governed by their own terms.

Purchases through Gumroad

Product purchase links take you to Gumroad. Gumroad handles checkout, payment processing, receipts, and digital file delivery. It may collect contact, transaction, payment, billing, device, and usage information as described in its privacy policy.

Dirtybarn does not receive or store your full card details on this site. Gumroad may provide us with order and customer details needed to deliver a purchase, provide customer support, prevent fraud, and meet accounting or legal obligations.

Google Analytics

Dirtybarn uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site performs and which pages are useful. It is optional: the Google Analytics tag does not load unless you select “Allow analytics.” If allowed, Google may use cookies or similar technologies to process device and browser details, approximate location, referring page, pages viewed, interactions, and timestamps.

We use these aggregated insights to understand site performance—not to sell your personal information. Advertising storage, ad personalisation, and Google signals are disabled in our site configuration.

Cookies and similar technologies

Before you make a choice, Dirtybarn does not load Google Analytics or set its optional analytics cookies. We store your analytics preference in your browser's local storage so the site can remember it. Essential technical storage may still be used by browsers, hosting infrastructure, or external services where necessary to provide and secure their services.

When you follow a link to Gumroad or another external site, that provider may use its own cookies under its own policy. You can withdraw or change your analytics choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer.

How information is used and shared

Where information is handled, we use it only as needed to:

• operate, protect, and troubleshoot the website;
• reply to emails and provide product, license, or customer support;
• fulfil and support purchases made through Gumroad;
• meet contractual, accounting, fraud-prevention, or legal duties; and
• understand site performance when you allow optional analytics.

We do not sell or rent personal information. Information may be handled by service providers such as Gumroad, hosting and infrastructure providers, and—only with your permission—Google Analytics. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect our rights and users.

Retention and security

We keep email correspondence and order-related information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide support, manage our business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal or accounting requirements. External providers set their own retention periods for information they control.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information available to us. No internet transmission or storage system is guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection regarding personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Contact Dirtybarn for information we control. For information controlled directly by Gumroad, Google, or another provider, you may also need to contact that provider.

Children and policy changes

This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly request personal information from children through it.

We may update this policy when the website, our providers, or applicable requirements change. The current version and its last-updated date will be published on this page.
