Milan-born Italian photographer Ronni Campana uses food as supporting subjects when photographing vibrant and bright compositions. Praising food with the words “I try to photograph food as I would eat it,” Campana builds a thin bridge between food and people. Meals and drinks are like a meeting point for people. Everyone is getting hungry. Everyone is eating. And everyone is happy when they eat.
Ronni Campana creates compositions through food that everyone can connect with. He says in It’s Nice That “Populations and communities around the world love their food, they improve it, mix it, match it and gloss it. From Puerto Rico to Vietnam, from pastrami to lasagne. You buy one pound of potatoes, and you can make anything with it. I try to photograph food as I would eat it. ”
He recently shot for brands such as Huma Sunglasses accessory brand Marsèll, fashion brand SUICOKE, and SUNNEI. A sense of humor is also evident in Ronni Campana’s photographs taken for brands. With his outgoing and cheerful disposition, he conveys one of the most basic emotions in his photographs.
